Cotswolds Garden Tour

This is opportunity for a garden club or a group of garden loving friends (min 10 pax/max 14 pax) to join a much sought-after program featuring some of the most exquisite Cotswold gardens. Through our contacts we have secured private guided tours with the owners or head gardeners of some of Cotswolds’ most special gardens. This includes both famous gardens open to the public as well as private gardens with exclusive access for our group. The Cotswolds is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ (a UK designation) and offers an abundance of picturesque villages, stunning manor homes, incredible gardens and bucolic scenery.
Our tour will include private tours of the following renowned gardens:
-The Royal Gardens at Highgrove, HM King Charles’ private home (followed by Champagne Tea)
-Sezincote, a Mughal style palace and private home
-Hidcote Manor; created by the famous American horticulturist Major Lawrence Johnston
-Kiftsgate Court; fabulous gardens created by three generations of female owners.
Through our contacts we also have access to private gardens not generally open to the public, e.g.:
-Rockcliffe Gardens
-Upton Wold (including a Butler served lunch)
-Wortley House
Our program also includes visits to grand English houses with impressive grounds and history:
-Highclere Castle of Downton Abbey fame
-Cliveden House where we spend the first night
-Cirencester Park, the Earl of Bathurst’s estate

Cost $6,965. (Based on 2024 pricing)
$450 single supplement at Cliveden.
Price includes shared deluxe room at Cliveden (1 night) and single occupancy at the Painswick (4 nights), admission and tours of eleven (11) gardens, Afternoon tea, dinner and vintage boat tour at Cliveden, Champagne tea at King Charles’ Highgrove, 1 traditional pub dinner, 3 dinners at Painswick, travel in mini-bus with a professional driver and Sandy & Hans as ‘chaperones’. Flights are not included.
First come, first served. Numbers are capped at 14 clients (min. 10 pax) to ensure an exclusive, ‘non-group’ experience.
*visits to Highgrove are subject to HM’s diary which is usually determined in February. Our itinerary could therefore need to be juggled or I might need to find an alternative garden in the event that a visit is not possible.
